Good Day to You:
My name is Emily, and seeing as you are at my page I guess you should know a little bit about me. Although I am guessing that since I just started this page, most of you visitors already know me pretty well. However, the basics are these: I'm a 28 year old stay/work at home mom. I've been married almost 4 years now and my son is creeping up on 3 years old. My husband is a 31 year old full time Army Reservist, and a conservative Christian. I am a "moderately-liberal" agnostic pagan. Oh and I am a complete nerd! That should cover the bases you need in order to get where I'm coming from.
WHY did I start a Blog? I suppose you should know this as well, that is, if you care to know. I will explain what I'll write about and why it can be a bit random (hint: look at the title) and just the big why. Why did I do it? Especially when every person on the block seems to have one.
First, I LOVE to write. I have always loved to write. I was making books before I could really even write my own name. Of course I like to illustrate them too, so check out my "Art" page when I get it up and running. Writing is also well known to be a very therapudic practice. Between depression, moving, marriage, and a kid I kind of lost track of any regular writing I did. Since then I often don't sleep well because my mind is still racing at a million miles an hour with so many thoughts I just don't know what to do. So this is what I'm doing. That will also help explain my second point. I am going to write what ever I feel like writing about. Some of it may interest you, other things, not so much. I plan on writing out detailed opinions on everything from art to politics (FYI, I hate politics.) I plan on writing about being a mom including anything from tips & tricks to funny kidisms.
